I chose this clip because it uses two very strong appeals to emotion and reasoning by providing both facts and shocking pictures that grasp your attention to the horrors of fitting an unreal image. My topic for paper 3.1 is the effect celebrities and supermodels have had on the growing number of plastic surgeries as well as the deaths it has caused due to eating disorders.
The statistics in the video combined with the pictures creates a larger/more effective argument that either of the two could have made alone. It is very in your face and seems to have a universal audience.
