3.1 article

http://student.valpo.edu/nkinsey/research.html

this is my link and it's a paper a student wrote. It's often hard trying to find someone who doesn't blame violence and negative experiences on rap and makes a valid point of why it has no effect on people and their choices.

  2. I'm glad you chose this topic. With the way rap music is today, you see this being a hotly debated issue. I agree with the stance you are taking as well. Maybe think about mentioning the generation gap and how that plays a big role in people's opinion over this issue.

  3. This is a really interesting topic you chose. I also agree with a lot of what the paper is stating. I believe that rap music can be too graphic and filthy but its filth that should be heard and acknowledged rather than overlooked. I dont know how often you watch BET but a few years ago they had a special where they questioned the rappers for exploiting women and puting the black community down. Its something to look into but i sorry I dont remember what the series was called.
